Ahoy there, mateys!
If you subscribe to my Patreon, you already know that I was in Seattle/Southern Washington for 2 weeks tabling at Emerald City Comicon and attending the fabulous all women comics residency Trailer Blaze at the Sou’wester in Seaview, WA. Those trips were planned, but the day before I was supposed to fly back to Boston and resume my normal life, I was called out to Las Vegas to help my mom move my 92 year-old grandmother to Santa Fe, because my aunt who she lived with can no-longer care for her. This was a very unexpected situation, and my grandmother definitely DID NOT want to pack up her life and leave the house she’d been living in for 25 years, but unfortunately there really wasn’t any better solution. Because of my elongated travel, I’m behind on posting my weekly diary strip, and since I had so many weeks to mine from, I decided to just make all 3 be from the Comicon.
